Game instructions for hangman

Your task is to guess the correct word by guessing letters. If the proposed letter is in the word, the letter / letters are revealed in the right places among the squares. If the letter isn't in the word, the hangman will lose grip on the rope and eventually fall down.

You have won if you manage to guess the word before the hangman falls down. You've lost if the hanging man falls down!

Hints for winning in hangman!

Start by guessing letters which are common in the English language:

E, T, A, O, I, N, S, H, R

When you have got some characters right, you can start to figure out which other letters are missing in the word. The shorter the word, the more difficult it is to guess. When you manage to guess the word before the hangman falls, you get knowledge points.

Calculation of knowledge points

Each completed game level in Hangman gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 66 knowledge points by completing all 66 levels.
In the game Hangman, you can earn a total of 198 medals. Medals are awarded based on how many times you have completed a level:
  • Bronze medal: after completing 2 rounds.
  • Silver medal: after completing 5 rounds.
  • Gold medal: after completing 10 rounds.
Knowledge points are only awarded for levels you have not completed before, meaning those that do not yet have checked green circles. Even after completing a level and earning both knowledge points and medals, you can continue practicing it. However, this will not grant any additional knowledge points or medals.
