Game instructions for word hunt

Choose difficulty by selecting from the buttons above. The first five levels are focusing solely on the number of valid words. In the five highest levels both the number of words and the number of letters in the words are counted. The found and accepted words are shown in a list on the right, chich is filled as you find the words on the board. You mark your words by dragging your finger or with the mouse over the letters on the word field. The selected word is shown above the word field. If you select a word you already have found, it will bounce in the list, but the word is not counted twice. If the word is not in our dictionary, or if the word is too short, it will be marked red above the board. The glossary in this game is based on common English words and we're working to improve the content of our dictionaries. To pass a level, you must find as many words as requested.

Calculation of knowledge points

Each completed game level in Word Hunt gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 50 knowledge points by completing all 50 levels.
In the game Word Hunt, you can earn a total of 150 medals. Medals are awarded based on how many times you have completed a level:
  • Bronze medal: after completing 2 rounds.
  • Silver medal: after completing 5 rounds.
  • Gold medal: after completing 10 rounds.
Knowledge points are only awarded for levels you have not completed before, meaning those that do not yet have checked green circles. Even after completing a level and earning both knowledge points and medals, you can continue practicing it. However, this will not grant any additional knowledge points or medals.

I didn't take my focus medication today so I'm very tired and uninterested what's going on so why not right a comment on this website about how I'm doing everything but my work and instead trying to do a crossword puzzle that isn't really making me smarter but makes me feel like I am actually doing something productive today.

It's cool but i can do swedish words and it still works. I can also just hold down mouse click and move it superfast all over the letters and i get wierd words like ''oi'' and ''ta'' every five to seventh seconds. So i basicly complete yhe 50 word hunt in 2 min.

Anonymous: We do use an English dictionary, but some words exist also in Swedish, although the meaning of the words may be different between the two languages.

I'm not sure how this works. I'm an collage educated & well read parent of an 11 year old girl. Yet I tried the Swedish & English word hunt and scoring a ZERO... and giving up !? Looks pretty HARD to me. How am I to get my young daughter to even try ???
Or am I missing something (critical) here?
